Born and raised in Texas, Billie Jo Jones was destined for stardom from the very beginning. “I was putting on private concerts for my grandparents in their living room when I was just 4 or 5 years old,” she recalls. “They would sit, watch me for hours, and clap for me after every song.” Inspired by icons like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, Patsy Cline, Ray Price, and Loretta Lynn, Billie Jo developed a deep love for classic country music that continues to influence her artistry today.

Her breakout single, “Right Now Kinda Girl,” topped the Texas Regional Radio Chart and set the stage for her debut full-length album, Some Girls Don’t Cry, which featured the powerful title track of the same name, which also hit #1 at radio. She followed that success with “Whose Tequila Are You Drinkin’”, a hit that reached #1 on the CDX True Indie chart, earned her the distinction of Top Female Indie Artist on Music Row’s Breakout Radio Chart, and became an Amazon #1 Best Seller.

Now reaching a national audience, Billie Jo is featured on the new CBS television series The Road, where her music, personality, and undeniable stage presence are shining through to viewers across the country.

Singing is the only thing I have ever wanted to do. God didn’t give me this voice to just sit at home with it. I believe He gave me this voice and the courage to go out and play shows every weekend. I have always had a heart for people and getting to share my voice and my story through my songs means EVERYTHING to me.
